The center focuses on recycling cardboard, aluminum, tin, and mixed paper. All proceeds benefit the students at Lynden Christian Schools, so it’s a great community activity to get involved with!

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER – Discover Whatcom County in 365 Days
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, there are tons of events going on to raise awareness and funds to save lives. Join the American Cancer Society this Saturday October 15th on the noncompetitive 3 to 5 mile walk starting at Depot Market Square in downtown Bellingham! This yearly event raises money to fund innovative research, provide information and support, and help reduce breast cancer risk. This is a great cause bringing people together to make a difference, come be a part of it!
